Web site:

This team began in 1994. It has had up to 16 members but averages about 12. It has performed in England twice, in 1999 at the Scarborough Fair and then in Rochester at the Sweeps in 2006. In the U.S. it has performed in Seattle at Northwest Folklife in 2002 and in 2005. In Alaska Rant and Raven has performed in Anchorage, Palmer, Girdwood, Seward, Ninilchik, Talkeetna and Seldovia. Most dances have been of border variety but there are a couple of Cotswold styles. We have past members living in England, France now and also possibly Virginia.

Performances in the past have been done with up to 12 members.

More recently we have performed 6 and 4 person dances.

In 2006 we went to Rochester with about several dances ready (I cannot remember them all) --

Wolfshead -- (An adaptation from Wolfshead and Vixen's dance named "Seasons") Baxter Bog -- African Swallow -- Skirmishing --

Recently we performed at the Anchorage Folk Festival. That was in January 2007. We did perform in California in 2007 and are still alive and well in 2008.
